About me

Hello! My name is Shannon Fanth. I am a Licensed Cosmetologist and a (Registered) Behavior Technician trained in Applied Behavior Anaylisis therapy. I operate an in-home salon, and work part time with children who have Autism. I see a need in our community for someone who can combine these modalities, and I am happy to put my skills to good use!

I am in the process of completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, with the goal of becoming a Mental/Behavioral health Therapist. My minor is in Psychology and I also study spiritual law/world religion.

A lot of my experience in the beauty industry is in leadership and management for both small salon companies and corporate. I have been a licensed hairstylist since 2017. Combining my 20 years of practice in Cosmetology with my passion for Autistic community is a dream!

A clean, decluttered space eases the mind and calms the spirit.

My salon space is the perfect alternative to busy barber shops with loud waiting rooms. I take one client at a time, and am never in a rush. Music, tv, aromatherapy and lighting is used to set the tone for your appointment. Preferences can be noted on your new client form!

  • Rhode is a self-proclaimed therapy kitty that is often used in haircutting sessions as a reward or a stress reliever. He helps create an emotional memory that can counteract future anxiety around getting a haircut. Of course he only comes out when there are no allergies present.

  • YES! I spent three years at Bethany Good Samaritan doing hair for the residents and recovery patients. It was awesome. I have a select number of seniors still, and would welcome more. I can also visit them at their house if they are unable to travel.

  • Give me a call! Or we can set up a time to talk via text message. All calls and texts will be returned within 24 hours and usually between the hours of 8-10am, M-F.
