  • State of MN - Austism Resources Portal

    This portal is excellent as a starting point for receiving services for your child or adult loved one with ASD. Navigate through diagnosis, treatment, and other support you didn’t even know you needed!

  • Parent Education - Crow Wing County

    The best thing you can do for your child is to understand them better. Visit the Crow Wing County parent education portal, and scroll down to the “growth and development” section. You’ll see four classes that come highly recommended to empower you with knowledge and skills about your child’s development.

  • Northway Academy

    A local school for children with autism, Northway Academy provides those on the spectrum with ABA therapy in order to learn life, language and living skills.. along with academics. Covered by most insurance — including MA — this is a great place to go for daytime care and learning.

  • Autism Matters

    Another school for children with ASD! Autism Matters works closely with the community and other programs to provide services that include ABA Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Feeding Therapy. Click below for an explanation of each.

  • Autism Society of MN

    Want to feel a part of something special? Children and adults with ASD share some amazing qualities that can be celebrated through relationships, community and coming together! This site will list events, summer camps, and other opportunities that highlight the bright side of ASD.

  • PACER Center - Champions for Children with Disabilities

    Another site with a wealth of knowledge to offer. A place to get started on your journey OR a place to pin in your bookmarks for live webinars and other cool tools to help your loved one; like a google chrome extension to help support your child’s reading!

  • Autism Speaks - National Resources

    Here is the place to go to learn about services on a national level. Although starting local is often easier, this is a great place to be sure you are receiving every possible service out there.

  • UofM -Feeding Therapy

    Children with developmental delays often have an aversion to certain foods, textures, temperatures, etc. They can take “picky eating” to a new level, which can hinder nutrition and further delay cognitive development. The UofM has well researched feeding therapy programs through the Masonic Children’s Hospital, and is a great haven for services of this kind.
